Battles and Beers: Brewing a Legacy

In 2018, Battles and Beers was nothing more than a hobby, a small flame of passion ignited within me after I had completed my service in the Marines. Little did I know, this hobby would evolve into something far more significant, a mission to document stories that might otherwise fade into obscurity.

What drove me then, and continues to fuel my dedication today, is the recognition of the immense value these stories hold. They are fragments of history, narratives of the human experience during times of conflict, and they deserve to be preserved and shared.

My journey began when I started sharing these stories on platforms like Facebook and Instagram. It was then that I realized the niche world I had unlocked, a community of individuals hungry for the untold stories of heroism, sacrifice, and resilience. As more and more people joined our ranks, Battles and Beers began to grow.

The growth of Battles and Beers has been nothing short of incredible. What started as a small endeavor is now a thriving platform with a passionate audience eager to hear and learn from the stories we share. The journey has been a testament to the power of storytelling and the hunger for authentic narratives.

As I look ahead, I am filled with hope for the future. There are numerous projects on the horizon, each aimed at expanding the reach and impact of Battles and Beers. One of my aspirations is to travel more frequently to document stories firsthand, just as I did in Ukraine this past November. Being on the frontlines provides a level of insight and connection that words alone cannot convey.

Writing books has been an integral part of this journey, and I relish every step of the process. Keep an eye out for "What War Did To Us: Volume 3" coming soon!

I am immensely grateful for the opportunities that Battles and Beers has brought my way. I've had the privilege of working with incredible people, participating in articles and podcasts about my work, and even speaking at an upcoming event in Columbus, Ohio. These experiences have enriched my understanding of the importance of storytelling in bridging gaps and fostering connections.

The journey ahead is filled with excitement and promise. I can't wait to see where Battles and Beers takes me next, and I invite you all to join me on this remarkable voyage of discovery, remembrance, and growth. Together, we'll continue to unearth the hidden gems of history and celebrate the indomitable spirit of humanity in the face of adversity.
